Please join Indiana author, Katie Andrews Potter, for a wonderful afternoon of stories and a fundraiser benefiting Indianapolis' James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home on Saturday, March 29 from 2-4pm.

Katie will share about Riley, the history of "Little Orphant Annie," read aloud from her book, Little Orphant Allie, and recite "the mostest fun" poems by the Hoosier poet himself. Attendees will have a chance to win signed copies of Katie's book! Families and kids of all ages are encouraged to attend-- "or the goblins'lll getcha if you don't watch out!"

Meet local authors and talk about their work at this drop-in event. Dozens of authors represented a variety of genres and age groups will be present.

The Author Fair is an opportunity for the public to meet with 25+ regional authors, ask questions about their books and the writing process, and purchase their books.

This year author Shannon Anderson will be doing a kids (suggested ages 3-6 year olds) Storytime (no registration) at 10:15AM and an Author Talk during the fair at 11AM.  Following the fair at 1:30PM Shannon will present a Writer’s Critique Workshop.

Join me for an interactive program all about Indiana author and naturalist Gene Stratton-Porter, at the public library in the town where she lived for many years. We’ll learn all about about her life, her love for nature, and her writing, and I will read an excerpt from my book based on her childhood, Little Bird Woman.

Join me at Garfield Park Conservatory in Indianapolis for an author meet & greet! I’ll be signing copies of my book Wildflowers in Watercolor, which was partially inspired by a visit there! There will also be a variety of art activities for kids of all ages. Be sure to plan for plenty of time to take in the beautiful conservatory (and don’t forget to look for fairies!).

I’m joining nearly 60 authors and literary organizations for Hamilton East Public Library's #HEPLLocalAuthorFair2024. The event will have authors available to sign books, a chance to win prizes, and more!
